My jaw literally dropped because I was infinitely stunned to learn that her mother was actually Jayne Mansfield!! That's so sad that her mother died when she was only 3 years old. They really do look identical except for the color of their hair but both very beautiful.

Mansfield was also a brunette. She bleached her hair as a publicity stunt when she first arrived in Hollywood and it worked so she stuck with it (ie. the "dumb" blonde role) for the rest of her career.

Mike U Jayne had very dark brown eyes and black hair (try to find some pre-peroxide pics). If you are familiar with Jayne you can definitely see a similarity between mother and daughter.

I love her so goddamn much, she is such an amazing actress. It kind of sucks that Chris Meloni left the show because they had the best chemistry I've ever seen on a TV show other than Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston of course. But SVU is by far my favorite show... I have a Hulu subscription and it says "You can watch 386 episodes with your subscription" and every time I look at it I'm like damn ... I've seen ALL of those episodes, lol.

I work in NYC as a background actor and have gotten to work on SVU, Mariska is such a class act, she is so sweet and appreciative of her entire cast and crew, and she should definitely be on SNL as a host, she'd be hilarious! Season 12, Episode 23! was the last episode up on netflix that I've watched :( I were looking for more episodes to get into. but that was it.
