that was beautiful. love seeing flares/spindles on the pommel horse (done well). i definitely could not see anything to mark off on, but I'm sure with how critical judging has become in modern day gymnastics that today's judges would find something to deduct off the max score.

He's got elbows bent on the one pommel sequences, a bit of a hip bend in the flair spindle, and a slight knee bend in the scissors, I think 0.5 - 0.7 deduction nowadays would be fair. Which is still incredible execution, gymnasts rarely get less than a point deduction.

Wasn’t until scrolling through Wikipedia that I learned about this despite following the sport for decades! The last perfect 10 right?! I feel better about this being the last one than Milo’s floor. I had assumed MAG was beyond 10s given that they were already scoring realistically in Barcelona unlike WAG.
