Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is threatening to move ahead with a floor vote to remove Mike Johnson as House speaker. This comes after House Democrats announced Tuesday they would block the vote and save his job. CBS News congressional correspondent Nikole Killion has the details.

I just wish someone like John Bolton or Nikki Haley can explain to her in depth why Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan are so important for our national security. From what I've researched: Taiwan makes 60% of the worlds semi conductors and 90% of the most advanced ones which I believe also goes toward our military hardware, Israel helped create the modern day Patriot Missile Defense system (Their home variant being the Iron Dome.), and Bogging down Russia prevents them from pushing further into Africa and pincering our trade route in and around the Suez and Red Sea region. It also diverts their cyber criminals away from targeting U.S infrastructure (which I know is selfish, but this argument goes well with Marjorie's "America First" policy.) It's not just free handouts going to these countries. They all serve as bulwarks against the expansionist aims of China, Russia, and Iran. Even Trump recently admitted that the Defense of Ukraine is necessary, and is also backing Mike Johnson.
