Hi! Not sure if you ever do this but, to help the puff pastry puff up more, cool down the mixture first or else the butter in the pastry melts before it hits the oven. Also, higher temp in the oven will break the water in the butter more so it puffs up!

Whenever i am under the weather that’s the only time i get to watch tv and my comfort is to watch cooking shows esp. yours. Just watched you cooking chicken pastel looks wow! soo yummy! Our family’s version is pork pastel naman.:) we marinate the pork (menudo cut) with chiz whiz naman, then what we have aside from potatoes, carrots and sausages are water chestnuts and pork liver. Share lang po but i always love watching your family cook! Even ms. Julia’s pasta telefono! Looking forward to-your very own recipe cook book, heirloom recipe of yours! Luv u ms Marj!

Ms. Marge alam mo pinapanood ko lang dati yang mga cooking vlogs mo pero nung try ko yung shrimp pasta ay grabe ang sarap. Yung pamangkin ko na me allergy sa shrimp napakain sya sa sarap pero pakonti konti kasi inoobserve nmen sya pero nasarapan sya talaga and I'm happy na post mo sya sa IG yung ginawa ko na yun. Itong chicken pastel mo itry ko talaga gawin kasi hindi sya mahilig sa chicken na me sauce pero papakainin ko sya nyan kasi mukhang masarap din yan. Sana marami ka pang mashare na recipes and for sure babalikan ko yung ibang recipes mo para matry ko gawin. Thank you for sharing.❤️
