Mark 11 - The Beginning of Passion Week

1 John 5:14 is so Key to understanding Mark 11:24. Many people lose faith in God when they take Mark 11:24 out of context. Many lose faith when they love one die or something "bad" happens after praying hard. This is so key to learning prayer. The purpose of prayer is to have access to the answer/will of God. You may or may not like the answer but it is there. You pray to unlock the answer. Prayer is to get close with God and to hear him. When I first read Mark 11:24 I was puzzled then I said let me hear what Pastor Paul LeBoutillier have to say about it. Thank God for Pastor Paul LeBoutillier teachings. I knew he would break it down well.

I truly enjoy your teachings from the Bible. I watch your prerecorded sermons every day. I have a question though about something here in Mark 11’s message. You spoke about forgiveness… and how our unforgivness can hinder our prayers…but that is not forgiving others doesn’t mean that God will not forgive us. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding your message here… but I immediately recalled a scripture from Matthew 6:14-15, which says, “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Can you offer some clarity on this? Thanks.

Hey Pastor Paul. I'm following the 5x5x5 bible reading plan and stumbled on your sermons on the book of Mark. I'm truly thankful. My process is to pray then read the King James version, then the New Living Translation version followed by your sermon. I feel seeds taking root!
