I agree. This son popped into my head yesterday and I got that nostalgia feeling from when I was a kid seeing this on CMT in my childhood home. I didn't know it was from 1991, that puts me at 7yo when it came out. Miss those days.

I was 22 years old when this song was on the charts in July of 1991, and I turned 23 that August. In my opinion, the 80's and 90's were the two best decades for country music. Oh, how I wish time travel was possible so we all could go back to those days! What a great time to be alive!

I was only six when this song came out, but I definitely loved it back then, too! I remember wanting to get it badly on one of my tapes that I'd always record off the radio back then. I even remember seeing some of this video on CMT back in the early 90s. I'm completely with you on wishing time travel was possible! I'd go back to the early 90s in a heartbeat, and I'd love to get to experience the 80s, as well.

I'm a Texas born and raised cowboy, and have always been a fan of traditional country music. Watching this video brought back a lot of great memories... Like going to the county fairs back in the 70's. Me and a couple of my High School buddies are wearing our best pair of Wranglers, polished up cowboy boots, and straw stetson cowboy hats, and on the prowl for those cute country girls... Flirting and generally having a lot of innocent, clean fun.... It was at one of those fairs back in 1979 is where I met my now wife of 44 years. She was about 5-5, had on a really pretty lacy blouse, and really filled out her Wranglers in a great way... Blonde hair, and green eyes. She smiled at me, and that's all she wrote.... I was bit hard by the love bug.... We dated while I was an active duty Marine. We got married on June 29th., 1979. Now we're both retired, with two grown daughters, and 3 grandkids.... We live on our horse ranch near Burnet, Tx., and life is good....

I’ve heard other artists, over the years, say there are songs they don’t like performing. On one hand I could see if he’s sang it 15 million times & has grown tired of it, but on the other hand - it’s definitely a large reason he achieved the success he did (& a lot of money) 🤷🏻♀️

This song makes me so sad and happy at the same time. It took me soooo long to find this song. Because I couldn’t remember the song or the singer as I listened to it as a child and it evoked so much happiness when I heard it. I was so happy to find this song last night. I miss being a little girl living in a small town with the comforts of a small town county fair. I’ve lived in Los Angeles the past 13 year and sometimes I need this music to cure my soul. It makes me feel innocent again. Anyway, love and light to you all 💗

Back when music videos could be fun, not so serious and no damn politics. I met Mark Chesnutt one time when he showed up unannounced in a c/w club in Yakima Washington. He autographed some coasters for me and my husband (who was stationed overseas at the time). Looking back I should have asked him to dance with me. What's the worst that could happen, he'd say no? Saw him in concert 5 years later. He looked like he'd had a few too many 96ers.

I always loved this song and video. I saw Mark on I think it was Nashville Now in the mid 90's saying how much he hated this video. He thought he looked silly. I never did, I loved it.

We’ve all sinned and cannot get into heaven if we’re corrupted by sin. Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself so that whoever ask forgiveness will be forgiven of sin. If you put your faith in Jesus you will be saved from hell
