From victor moon. Me too Jdf Furr. He acknowledged the Vietnam vets because they kept this country free from Communism or who knows what else. From North Vietnam and all of our other enemies. Some a****** made a remark that Farner was supporting “baby killers” and thats absolutely ludicrous! If any soldier killed babies they would be court-martialed and dishonorably discharged. And spent time in prison too! I cant stand when some ass acts like Jane Fonda did. If they wanna act like that then they should go over there in that Hell on Earth and see what it was really like. When you see your best buddy get his face blown clean off and wondering when you’re next! Screw protesters!!

They’re _all_ insanely talented, but as a fellow drummer, I have to shout-out this dude: This is beautiful Drumming. He’s got great groove, great touch, and everything he plays is tasteful+melodic. Like, for the outro: The Drums just set up the music so perfectly. Starting with that Flam on the snare. . . 5:06 . . . Mmm. It’s so satisfying lol. 🙏

He’s an African American drummer that is awesome! He keeps perfect rhythm and does drum rolls that I can’t do and I’ve been a drummer since 14 years old. Mark Farner knew what he was doing when he hired this drummer! And I still can’t believe Farner can play lead and rhythm guitar and sing as well as he does all at the same time. And the smartest thing about him is he accepted Jesus Christ. That’s the most important thing you can ever, ever do! I have full respect for him. And God have him a very special talent at birth. Thank you Mark Farner!!!

I’m 58 years old and I’ve totally loved this song since I was a kid. Not only was this a remarkable performance, but Mark smartly saluted Vietnam Vets, as he should have. Cause he knows without our American soldiers, he, nor anybody else in America would b free! We’d b living under some madman dictator or something worse. Some person on this web, don’t know them by name cause they go by some Arabian symbol said Mark saluted “baby killers.” That’s ludicrous and a comment that never should’ve been allowed on this web. Mark did no such thing! He is just happy to live in a free country and He found Jesus Christ, which is the most important thing He could’ve ever done!!

This is my favorite song by GFR. Hands down!! I wish I could’ve been at this concert. I especially like when Farner gives credit to the brave soldiers that went to Vietnam to keep America free from North Vietnam and our other enemies and foes. And the Vietnam vets were not baby killers either. If they did kill babies and young kids that were trained to set off bombs,!they wouldve been ncourt martialed and dishonorably discharged. I saw a comment a while ago fm a guy that called Vietnam vets “baby killers” and he wasn’t even over there in that Hell on Earth! And you know what else, the Vietnam vets got no compensation for being over there. I talked for over and hour with a man that was over there and he saw one of his best buddies get his face blown off!! How must that have felt? And he also told me the stupid govt gave him no compensation for being over there. The only compensation he got was getting the Hell out of there alive with all his limbs! Jane Fonda didnt help matters either. She persisted on us not killing Vietnam soldiers. But she got what was coming to her. Some vet spit a whole mouth of tobacco juice in her face instead of an autograph. He said he waited patiently for the right time to do it. She deserved it!! I’m still glad he did it.$he deserved it! Supposedly she is a born again Christian now and that’s great, but at the time she deserved it.!

It was good until he saluted baby killers toward the end. He also likes to profess Christianity at his shows which is an insult to those who believe in their own God. Does this mean Muslim that believes in Allah would not feel welcome at one of Farner’s shows?
@victormoon2349
@victormoon2349 2 жыл бұрын
This is to Whomever commented on Mark saluting baby killers at the end. I dont even know your name because you only have symbols where you’re name is supposed to be. Anyway, let me ask u something: were you in Vietnam? I highly doubt it! American soldiers didnt even have a choice or volunteer for that stupid war, because they were DRAFTED. Got it? And when they got over there it was kill or be killed. Listen now: the Vietnamese taught their very young children how to place bombs, and use guns and lure our innocent soldiers to their death. Now, i understand that if any of our soldiers intentionally killed a baby then they would go thru court and be prosecuted. But I don’t think you have a clue how bad Vietnam war was. You’re like a Jane Fonda protester. Which Fonda eventually got tobacco spit in her FACE by a Vet. And im glad she did! Cause she showed more sympathy for Vietnamese than she did for her own American soldiers who were fighting for her freedom along with everybody else’s freedom here in the U.S.A. I have a strong feeling that u don’t have a clue what it was like to be in Vietnam. It was Hell on earth for our own vets that you’re downing. How do you think you would feel if you thought at any second you could die! Or see a good friend get their face blown off! And not only that but we had to fight in their own territory and in the jungles. How fair is that? Anyway, this msg is getting too long so I’m gonna stop for now. But you need to give it a long thought b4 u claim to know what you’re talking about. And P.S. you could do yourself a big favor by not talking about religion in your messages. Believing in any god you want to believe in just may send you into a “lake of fire” one day! For eternity! Not just a few minutes or 1 long day, but forever and ever. I’m not trying to tell you what to believe in cause this is a free country. Only because our own soldiers fight for you and everyone else in America!! In any war (including Vietnam). Anyway, I think you could do yourself another huge favor to doing a little study on Christianity, instead of going off on Mark from Grand Funk. Read John 3:16 in the Holy Bible for one thing. Then do some long thinking about how you exist anyway. You are living in a free country and you’re breathing oxygen only because God Jehovah, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are allowing you to breathe. Jesus also said quote “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father but through me.” I suggest that you do some at bare minimum “some” research on some very important issues before you
@victormoon2349
@victormoon2349 2 жыл бұрын
Do you even realize Jesus Christ is the only God that was mutilated on a cross for your sins, and rose from the grave. And He’s the only reason your heart is still beating. If God Jehovah, not Allah, chose to totally demolish this planet because of sin, He could do it! I’m not pushing religion on you or telling you, you can’t believe in what god u want to but i would strongly advise you to do some strong research on Christianity before its too late for you. God bless and I’ll pray for you. :)
