The interviewer is very good. Very genuine. Asks great questions. Not pretentious. I think this channel can go a long way. There's hundreds of KZbinrs you could do interviews with, outside of football even, and it's definitely a little niche. Keep going and I've subscribed. As for Mark, what a legend. Been watching him since 2017 and he definitely knows Man Utd inside out because I've been supporting Man Utd since early 90s and he remember the history very well and doesn't fake it. Keep going Brent 😂😂. Another funny thing is my ex girlfriend made a comment while I was in kitchen listening to a United stand episode and unbeknownst to me she was in the other room actually listening and she asked me who I was listening to cos he was very funny (she didn't know anything about football) and because of Goldbridge she started to watch games with me. Liverpool fan, and absolutely love Mark. So many people set out to be 'the voice of the fan', and end up not really representing the majority of peoples views. Disagree with him on many points, as I do with other fans, but I like the way he digs his heels in, and sticks to his guns (as any other fan that I talk to does). And his opinions are often in the face of popularity (De Gea in, Glazers out, etc.) (imagine starting a fan channel and being against the owners of that club! A lot of people would keep quiet, with the hope of getting an extra interview / closer to the club). YNWA Marky - stick at it! Looking forward to your charity day stream coming up!
@FuncleB Жыл бұрын
everyone wants Glazers out mate, it's hardly facing adversity claiming that. They've not spent a penny of their own money, only spent what THE CLUB has generated and even taken dividends out of that. They can't be blamed for everything wrong with United at the moment but they are a very large part. I know a lot of Liverpool fans who don't like their owners too. I think this is when rivalries should take a back seat and support one another to get these leeches away from proper football institutions.
@drgjenkins43612 ай бұрын
What i probably meant was: it could be beneficial for someone wanting to report on the club, to keep quiet about the owners, in hope of 'getting in'. I think of some of the big pundits, and some of those tend to keep quiet in regards to Glazers (as someone has told them to shut up or they'll lose interview rights, etc). I agree. FSG and Glazers were, at one point, indistinguishable. As a matter of fact, the Glazers were posting information THROUGH FSG (super league setting up). I think that when results go against Liverpool, the owners will be under fire quick. I've got to say, the Glazers have really pulled a move lately. Everyone calls United 'Ineos' owned now. Even though they are minority! Good move that one.

I've been watching Mark and the United Stand since 2014 when I was single and a bachelor and always enjoyed the content!I think the cliche "Misery loves company" was the main reason as it gave me a community to see other fans vent and feel the anger and frustration as we became a banter club post-Fergie with all the wrong records being smashed during the reign of Moyes! Mark and Flex with the fan cams were my default settings on match days! Well done for surviving and growing as you have in a very competitive and envious space!

I understand that many of the positions he's taken on the United Stand make him a controversial figure, and I think he understands that very well himself. On the mental health topic, I think if I were in Mark's position I also would not talk much about it publicly - my own mental health that is. I think social media is not the place for it. I love that Mark supports everyone who does talk about it on his streams. But if I were in his shoes, I'd talk to the people close to me about it and to professionals. Great interview even though I've heard most of Mark's story before on his Goldbridge channel and sometimes he's also talking about his past at United Stand. Mark you either love or hate - for me it's a bit of both. Sometimes he sounds like the most sensible football guy in the world and sometimes he says a lot of rubbish and even contradicts himself. No matter what he's undoubtedly one of the most talented presenters in the world doing KZbin football fan videos and I love how he's himself all the way - for better or for worse even though it's been better the last few years after too much negativity before Ten Hag was appointed (still same problem with the rest of the guys working on the United Stand). Mark's shows are genuine stuff and 1,7 million followers can also tell. So many fake KZbinrs playing an act which can be fun, but nothing's better than the real thing even though you don't always agree with him. Keep it up, Mark!
