This guy was so honest and real. He came onto the scene around 1984 and it was the perfect time for him because that is when country singers sang with passion and sang good music. Just listen to the way Mark Gray hits these notes with that strong voice it will move anybody. Nowadays there isn't anybody that sings like this.

Two guys, Two girls - all best friends, riding around in a pickup truck and drinking budweiser beer listening to Mark Gray going down through Spring Creek. This was in the late 80's. I'm 55 now and when anyone asks what was the most favorite thing I've ever done, it was this. We listened to Mark Gray, T. Graham Brown, Sawyer Brown and a little bit of Ray Stevens. Best time of my life!

My Dad introduced me to Mark Gray as a young girl. He died two years ago and I will always remember this as one of his most played songs. I LOVE this song myself. Mark Gray was so underrated. So glad to find it here.

He did a duet with Tammy Wynette in about 1984 or 85 on a remake of the Dan Hill song for the 70's, "Sometimes When We Touch". A great version of that song, their voices were perfect together. It is on KZbin.

WOW HE IS GREAT! My mother said he was her favorite singer, but someone stole her tapes in the 90's and she never found him again..I thought, "Well how good could he really be?"...I've been looking for him for awhile.
