Mark is the unsung hero of the Star Wars movies. As amazing as the story and visuals were in the 1977 original, if he hadn't played Luke with the absolute sincerity that he did, the movie would only be remembered for its visual excellence. Mark gave the movie and the series it's heart.

Mark Hamill is so cool. I love how he shook 3PO's hand and kissed R2 at the end. He always 'got' star wars, even in the beginning, I think because of his love of comics ever since he was a kid. It's funny how he also doesn't stammer around on stage trying to read his lines but is very intelligent and quick-witted. It's amazing they didn't use him more or maybe he never found a role he liked. I'm hoping Star Wars 7 has him in it a lot. Here's to hoping!
@ZiddersRooFurry10 жыл бұрын
Mark didn't get many acting jobs after Star Wars because of the popularity of the franchise. His face was everywhere, and people couldn't stop thinking of him as 'that Star Wars guy'. It's when he started voice acting that his career was truly solidified. He's been THE best joker ever, hands down.

AMTFan1 Oof, uh, guys? Who’s going to break the news to him..... Disclaimer: I don’t hate the Disney movies, I just wanted to interject my own fun. I love all and every Star Wars equally as each share their own good and bad moments, even the Holiday and Ewok specials have some charm to them, for as out of place as they are to some in the Star Wars universe. The franchise itself is like the Force, it binds us all in many ways, but it’s also open to each and any interpretation whether that be die-hard or casual fans, it doesn’t matter, as long as you love what you love and enjoy it, then that’s perfectly fine and ok

This world lacks appreciation for great storytellers like George Lucas. I'm always fascinated by the fact that all these epic sagas like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings are products of the human mind. People with a great fantasy are often considered "delusional" but I think it's the other way around. It's the dreaming that made us become what we are today because dreams will eventually become reality and by that, fantasy is shaping the real world.
