God rewards humility, not vanity and arrogance. God blesses immensely those who are righteous and who put others before themselves, characteristics exemplified time and time again by Mark Harmon. Which other actor would've put their lives on the line, the way Mark did, back when he saved those two teenagers from a burning car that had crashed in front of his residence? Which other actor would've bought the lobsters in the tank at a restaurant so he could set them free? MH is a GREAT role model!

one of the reasons, if not the main reason, why i have continued to watch this show on a weekly basis is because of the chemistry between the characters. The chemistry is far better in NCIS than in any other show

I have to agree w/ pagalley1's comments. Mark Harmon is that rare actor who places God, Family, Country above all else, gives credit where credit is due and has managed to remain humble throughout his career. He is an exemplary human being .

NCIS works and works well because, besides hard work, a great cast and great writers and directors, and all the team work that takes place, there's something special taking place with this show that we can't quite put our finger on...Personally, I think Mark Harmon has a lot to do with the success of NCIS..."He who humbles himself shall be exalted and he who exalts himself shall be humbled."...Mark has remained extremely humble while riding this huge wave of success, unlike egomaniacal celebs.

@Nyquilify I agree with you. The chemistry among them balances out how every episode is played through. Personally though to me, I love how there are comical moments, very serious moments and just very relaxed moments.
