hi Mark re taking the water temp very interesting I fish a pit of 50 acres and deep, does the temperature change from in the shallows as carp do tend to head for shallows as seems to be the first bit to warm up, to say the middle deep part of the lake where you may be fishing a spot? so where do you take your readings from in the edge or flick the temperature gauge out on the end of a rod under a marker float for something?
