When one becomes an insane conspiracy theorist and the other refuses to grow up, it makes sense there's a divide. Mark is hilarious and just wants to keep doing what he loves, Tom takes himself so seriously and wants to be respected despite making a career on fart jokes basically. I think they're both incredibly talented and intelligent with their ventures, but they're drastically different people.
