Mark King has one of the most extraordinary and unique techniques in all rock/pop instruments. Nobody played bass fully like he does and everyone who came after him learns his technique when it comes to slap and funk bass in general. If only this was a Level 42 concert it could have been the ideal scenario for a bassist/singer.

Reminds me of my first love. At the age of 15 he introduced me to this beautiful song. He was from North Norfolk and was from West Norfolk and logistically it was not to be. We met at our annual fire cadet camp and this song brings back memories of that summer. Where ever you are, I send you love.
