It certainly is not playback. His left hand is playing the notes. You can actually see his hand doing the tremolo during that passage. Mark does not need to use playback. He is one , if not, the most gifted guitar man out there, bar none! His music and lyrics speak for themselves. I mean, after forty years of stunning audiences and performing to sold out concerts, I would think so, no?

Barb you're not the only one I'm totally addicted as well, look at all the musicians!!!!?what a song to kick off a show, love the Scottish/Irish vibe, wish he'd bring out a BLU ray/2CD live concert of this tour🎸💎🕺💎🥁🎵🎺💯🌟🔥🪗🎻🪕🎺🎷 Seen a few shows but missed out on a few important ones as well😔 , most notable 2010, 2013, 2015, 2019, Shows I'v seen : Dire Straits kicked off their 1992 European On every Street with a 6 night stint at the Point Theatre Dublin Iwas there first night, then I seen him same theatre in 1996 on the Golden Heart Tour, 6 or 7 years later Mark n Emmylou, then in 2012 a double bill Knopfler/Bob Dylan show, Mark I have to say stole the honours here too, anybody that seen the Down The Road Whatever tour 2019 were the lucky ones as he announced his retirement at the Milan/ Amsterdam shows. We are lucky to have a lot of these shows on utube and I think you can buy or download HQ audio CD off his official site☘️🇮🇪

@cogerloahi si la acústica no era muy buena, bueno más bien el equipo de sonido, no sonaba muy allá. En un sitio cerrado sonaría mejor, creo que se quedaron cortos de potencia y de ecualización.
