I'm 81 and Emily Lou Harris has always been a favorite of mine. Then daughter who was living in UK and my Son said you've got to hear Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. Mark then moved to US, cleaned up personal life and is one of the best guitarist in the world. No pick, just finger picking.

My fatherinlaw passed away and my wife thought this song should be played on the day of his funeral in church. After that she listened a thousands times to this song, with tears in her eyes. Since his days after leaving Dyer Straits, I have come to really appreciate this man's true appreciation for the guitar. Knopfler's style is truly unique, with his trademark string bending style. Do you even realize you're performing in front of a live audience Knopler? Looks like you're completely lost in your music, totally absorbed, oblivious to anything happening before you. As a guitarist, that's a true pleasure to watch (and listen to!).
