Wolf trap 2019. Best show I've EVER seen, my entire life. And I'm over 50. Mark Knopfler is a rare bird. Only gets better with age. Never retire. NEVER!!!!! You're so genuine you've replaced The Beatles for me - because you're still doing it.

crlchs I was at that Wolf Trap 2019 concert too. Absolutely the best show I’ve ever seen, and I’m way over 60. Mark Knopfler definitely keeps getting better and better. Damn, that band was incredible. I’ll remember that night for a good long time.

Mark knopfler - just getting better & better, nobody comes close. That said, I wish he'd go easy on the brass section - was a bit over the top on paraguay - 2011/13 he would introduce the band as they launched into paraguay - that was so nice. Come to think of it - I've always liked going home better without the sax. And yes, I'm so glad he chose to include silvertown in the 2019 set - a masterpiece made even better in this live rendition.

I saw Mark in Indianapolis a few days ago, and the vocals were mixed so poorly that you could barely hear or understand anything he sang....so great to hear what the show should have sounded like!

He physically cant play the end well anymore. Check out the videos of him performing it live in 2015. The end doesnt sound as smooth as it should so he left it out. Plus, that song is still being played daily on some radioshows, supermarkets, clothing shops and wherever you go. I gotta admit that i´ve kind of heard it by now. There´s tons of version of it on KZbin though.

@@kittler53 that's for certain. But his 2015 tour did include the song in the setlist. And it sounded just very rusty. As well as What It Is. And thats totally fine.
