Rachel put on her beard-ski-mask and horned helmet and was obviously setting up for a line from Jimmy (and probably a retort from Rachel), but when Sean delivered the "challenging wank" line, Jimmy had the comedic sense to know nothing would top it and to just leave it at that. I am truly saddened at Sean's passing away. I think he was a genius with an appeal that most comedians can only dream of aspiring to. After seeing his work over the years I was always completely drawn in by his joke-telling, and then consistenly whalloped (in a good way!) by the "out of nowhere" contrary (& always brilliantly comedic) perspective which he would drop in to form his punchline. If that wasn't enough, he would often drop in a razor sharp follow-up line on top of that! ABSOLUTE GENIUS! I will miss you. RIP.

@jonathansore76413 жыл бұрын
I'm no fan of Vanessa but she was on a limited time slot, live on radio 2. She obviously had certain audio clips and points that she was told to play and ask. Also the show gave more time to Mark than they give to most of their guests. I actually think she was quite sensitive and comforting to Mark when he choked and if you listened they have a personal friendship and obviously like each other. I doubt Mark thought she was cutting him off but understood she was doing the best she could in a limited time slot within the parameters set by Jeremy Vine show management team. Gutted to lose Sean so young, comedy legend :(
