El disco es de lo mejor de su carrera, aquí encontramos ecos de kraut rock ("Nocturne"), electrónica que se acerca a Primal Scream ("Beehive"), tono épico ("Old Swan"), pop de los 70 ("Emperor") y acústica emocionante, encima es uno de sus álbumes menos sombríos. A sus 52 años muestra una afinada inspiración y su rocosa voz de barítono sigue en perfecto estado. Muy recomendable. Música independiente novedades.

It's a great song. Lanegan is on a hot streak. I just wish the song would've kicked back to the main riff after the solo instead of letting the soundscapes drown it out. It's such a cool riff
