I love sitting out with a drink and just listening to Mark's music and watching the night sky, its as if he is part of it now. What a tragic loss, he was a legend!

Absolutely addictive music. I certainly am addicted to his voice and music. Love him. I can't help it, I play this music everyday. Does anyone else?

yeah. My favorite song by him is Carnival. His songs helped me get through my darkest times and they've stuck with me.

Yes, I find that other music just does not do it for me anymore. I love listening to his songs they take me on this ride into another place and time, its crazy cool how he can pull you along with his journey. The best is his channel on Pandora, I crank that all day and love it. Cheers

Yep. I heard him in the Screaming Trees, but it wasn't until Mad Season that I truly appreciated the depth of soul he resounds.

Yes. His music is so personal. Marks dark and beautiful art touched my soul and never left. His passing is a raw today as it was nearly two years ago.

I discovered him through the Tree's biggest hit, Nearly Lost You when it first came out, and I kind of hate that song now because it is really the only on-air song that gets played for him. I went back in time from sweet oblivion to find some of their other songs. So many I liked from them. However, his solo work and collaborations are really where he shines. Sunrise and Revolver are a couple of my favorites, but Low, and Borracho, are also big-time for me. St Louis Eulogy and Night Flight to Kabul often get a listen as well. From his Trees days, Black Sun Morning, In The Forrest, No One Knows, and Revelator get a lot of listens from me still. There is a nice mash-up on KZbin of him and Chelsea Wolfe doing Flatlands that's amazing but it wasn't ever an actual collab.

Dirt by any other name Wouldn't have a taste so sweet Tell me do I take the blame Or should I admit defeat Or go blind Or go blind Twisting, falling through the air Will there be another day Gone so long you couldn't care I hang me head down anyway And go blind And go blind Dirt by any other name Wouldn't have a taste so sweet Tell me do I take the blame Or should I admit defeat Or go blind Or go blind
