Ken michaels isn’t a lewisohn fan He questions him and has said his John bias is going to hurt the book long term He spent scant pages on mccartneys mother passing

@@opticscolossalandepicvideo4879 This is totally untrue. I've never said anything of the kind. I'm one of the biggest fans and supporters of Mark's work. He sets the highest standards, and is one of the best authorities on the Beatles. I look forward to any interview he does, and he's been a breath of fresh air at discovering new information on the group.

@@stevencockcroft2080 he will never finish this. It’s a ten man job and he’s only one person. He is struggling to do research and write himself. In his own words He’d much prefer to do small lectures and theatre tours and play unauthorised recordings for cash. The reason it was stopped apple solicitors asked him to stop playing illegal and secret recordings. I wish him well but it’s simply not possible.

Having read the first book I couldn't put it down.All other books on The Beatles is Heresay..in the first book he captured the environment of their background. A must read ! As far as the following books it remains to be seen how it will be approached..their story is so complex..we have become to believe Beatle lore/ myths..I can't wait for the next volume. And I've read many a book on them and he is doing his research.!!!!

mark Lewisohn changed his tune since this interview. he says book 2 wont cover as much time as book 1 did but now he says that book 2 covers the whole world and now its a world story so now hes taking much more time then the first book. it wont even be out by 2022/2023

I think Lewisohn's work is great but not perfect. I think he get's the Pete Best story wrong for example. When he gets challenged on it he quickly gets pissy about it because he knows he's wrong. I've seen it many times now. It's an important story to get right. The idea that "we always wanted Ringo" was to cover that, at best (pun intended), they settled on Ringo. He of course worked out but it wasn't like Lewisohn says.
