Marc Eaton What? Are you asking him for help in the comments or in person?
@marceaton31287 жыл бұрын
He doesn't respond. I am sure his email is crazy and someone else does this youtube page for him. I find that the days of Quartets and men like Glen Payne and George Younce are long passed away. Now it is about money and fame. I have my Police Retirement for PTSD and have had a long battle with God over things. I have talked online with Gerald Wolfe and only had one response. I just want to sing and would do it for free. I have to also realize that maybe this is God punishing me for my anger by not letting me sing again. I'd drive to sing with some of these guys. I don't want to be in a Vegas act like Ernie Haas has put together. I just want to sing. I have to come to terms now that the Gospel Music industry is more to do with money and fame than it is with serving Jesus. I want to serve.
@patstone32597 жыл бұрын
Oh. Sorry to hear about your PTSD. I really know what it is to have that. I have PTSD as a result of a violent crime. I started praying each time I would start to feel an attack coming on and after a few years they are 90 percent gone. I have a few anxious moments from time to time and if I forget to stop and pray it is worse. ___I know nothing about the music industry but did look for other contact info for him with little success. Have you tried leaving a message on facebook?___I wonder if you could use your talents in a Church choir or to sing at VA hospitals or Children's Hospitals? I know from being in the hospital many times (200 plus surgeries) that it always made me feel better when volunteers would sing or play music or do comedy. ___ Maybe you could talk to the volunteers at your local hospitals and see. They might even have a group you could join with. That would probably be much more rewarding anyway. ___Anyway, what do I know? I do my singing in the car to save my family from the ear damage___ Oh, I just remembered... A friend of mine found a local group to sing with through MeetUp. ___ I wish you the best! I said a prayer for you. I know my Heavenly Father can fix anything, even me. : )

Not one thing wrong with Christian comedy!!! God will use his people any way he chooses! Mark Lowry is gifted to be funny! There is so much bad in this world and so much hypocrisy in the church. So many churches without the love of God and they are stiff necked. They wouldn't know the Holy Spirit if he sat down beside of them!!! Come on, people we need to be sharing the Love of God!!! Now, there is a difference if the Holy Spirit is moving and then the one ministering starts cracking jokes!!!! I believe the people who come to these videos and leave negative posts are searching for something!!! Mark Lowry is a Christian Comedian and if he is in a video then you can be sure he is going to tell jokes!!!! How did God create the vocal chords? If we knew we would be God!!! That is a question no one but God can answer! His ways are so far above our ways and it is not meant for us to understand. I don't regret giving my life to God and if at the end, this has all been a fairy tale. I will have lost nothing!!!

I find Mark's comedy hilarious, and his commentary touching. Interestingly, God's third and final scripture, the Quran, has this perspective to share about what Mary knew, what Jesus spoke as an infant, if you see in Chapter 19, MARY, in the Quran : Will you consider this passage? [19:20] She said, "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me; I have never been unchaste." [19:21] He (the Angel) said, "Thus said your Lord, `It is easy for Me. We will render him a sign for the people, and mercy from us. This is a predestined matter.' " [19:22] When she bore him, she isolated herself to a faraway place. [19:23] The birth process came to her by the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "(I am so ashamed;) I wish I were dead before this happened, and completely forgotten." [19:24] (The infant) called her from beneath her, saying, "Do not grieve. Your Lord has provided you with a stream. [19:25] "If you shake the trunk of this palm tree, it will drop ripe dates for you.* [19:26] "Eat and drink, and be happy. When you see anyone, say, `I have made a vow of silence; I am not talking today to anyone.'" [19:27] She came to her family, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have committed something that is totally unexpected. [19:28] "O descendant of Aaron, your father was not a bad man, nor was your mother unchaste." [19:29] She pointed to him. They said, "How can we talk with an infant in the crib?" [19:30] (The infant spoke and) said, "I am a servant of GOD. He has given me the scripture, and has appointed me a prophet. [19:31] "He made me blessed wherever I go, and enjoined me to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat) for as long as I live. [19:32] "I am to honor my mother; He did not make me a disobedient rebel. [19:33] And peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I get resurrected." [19:34] That was Jesus, the son of Mary, and this is the truth of this matter, about which they continue to doubt. [19:35] It does not befit GOD that He begets a son, be He glorified. To have anything done, He simply says to it, "Be," and it is. [19:36] He also proclaimed, "GOD is my Lord and your Lord; you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path."*

Lori Lee, i feel sad for you...they reach out on the internet, Thomas. Sounds like you need to MEET Jesus and get healed from how church people have hurt you. Going to church, knowing what the Bible says does not make you a believer* and does not mean you KNOW Christ. *the Word says even Satan and his fallen know the Word of God.
@debrastone21985 жыл бұрын
The songs are good & the message is well to be commended. But your pianist is too loud & a bit too fancy for the setting. If you had more people in the congregation to balance out the noise of the piano, it might not sound so bad on this end. Hoping you can work that out. The reason for my complaint is because I have a sensitive ear & tinnitus. Loud music like that makes it louder yet. &, It does no good to turn the volume down. I already have trouble hearing what is being said behind the music.

If this guy was raised a Fundamentalist Baptist, he's risking the wrath of that denomination just by appearing at this Pentecostal church. Heck, Baptist Bible Church in my home town in Missouri couldn't even handle Jerry Falwell, and he graduated from that school. In their minds, he was too "liberal". Can you imagine that? At least, I remember reading something online several years ago to that effect.

Be careful what you say! Otherwise, you'll have a bunch of butt-hurt xtians threatening you with eternal damnation. I don't know how anyone could listen to his high pitched whiny voice.
@markpettigrew348210 жыл бұрын
Dougibert I'm sorry to hear that your experience with Christians has been one in which you were always threatened with eternal damnation. The Christian message is called the GOOD NEWS for a reason. It's true that hell is what Jesus saved us from, but the Bible says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." God doesn't want you to perish, and neither do I. Nor, I suspect, does Mark Lowry. As for Mark's voice, he has the voice God gave to him, just as you and I have the voices God gave to us. For all you know, your voice is really annoying to someone on this earth.
@wjarnock4410 жыл бұрын
Mark Pettigrew How did god give him his voice?
@markpettigrew348210 жыл бұрын
John W The same way that God gave him his eye color, his height, etc. Ridiculing a person because he speaks with a high voice is ignorant. (By the way, the pastor who introduces Mark has a nice resonant and deep voice.) If you concentrated on the content of what he was saying, not on the tone of voice he used, you would demonstrate more intelligence. It's clear to me, from your first comment, that you are predisposed to dislike anything the guy says, regardless of his tone of voice.
@wjarnock4410 жыл бұрын
I'm not and have never commented on the tone of his voice - you stated that god gave him his voice - I am asking you how this was done - I am inquiring about the practicalities of it.

This pianist plays like he's showing off in a jazz lounge somewhere. Someone's should let him know he's in Church. Turn his volume down & close the keyboard... watching this video was so discordant & distracting. I'm a Penecostal worshiper & we rock, too, but this piano playing doesn't flow with God's Holy Spirit! I do not like to be critical, but this at odds-piano playing style didn't edify...
