I would sing this song in my brother's ear...he was waiting to die. He was paged to come in to get his new liver, unfortunately when they opened him they found a cancer tumor the size of a softball that had metastasize through his entire body. Of course they could not give a viable liver to someone with cancer...so he was going to die. I have been minister for 37 years and I have used the lyrics of this song in a sermon. I did my brother's funeral with 1,500 people in a gym, attending. What I will always remember while he was still in recovery I went in and he made a jester that he wanted to have a pen and paper. He wrote, "I did not get the liver and I am going to die. It's okay because I have seen the face of God and we win!"
