"That's a Plan" was released in June 2001. Mark McGuinn tells the story of a man who has to import his life, so he plans his future by making changes. He talks about how a small town is not a bad place; so he uses space. He packs his bags and says his goodbyes, and gets a map to point his finger where he lands. He hitched his wagon to a wandering star with a gas and a credit card. The dirt roads look the same to see the world, and life can get back real soon. In the end, a man comes back here again, and finally settles down.👍

Mark does a great job of singing but my brother wrote this song. I think of the town we grew up in when I hear this song.

Nice tune, I had the good fortune to meet Mark in Canada many years ago when he was up here helping an aspiring country artist write songs. It was before he broke in the US. Very sweet guy and amazing talent. He should do an unplugged thing because just him and an acoustic guitar is a thing of beauty. I was wondering what happened to him and at least now I know a little more. Thanks for the post!
