Studying anything - comedy for example - might make someone a comedy academic, but they're likely to be far less funny than someone who works at writing jokes and sharing them. Effort is most important.

I just don't get the love on for Jerry Seinfeld ...I mean I really like the guy ...the _guy_ ...you know, like he's a good person, and a real enabler ...although I sense a little more arrogance in his demeanour than he's usually know for. I listen to a lot of stand up, but it's just hard for me to sit through his set ...he wasn't even the funny one in his own show. I don't mind clean comedians ...I love Brian Regan ...and Mark is up there with my favourites. I guess I just like comedians to walk right on top of the line of acceptable banter and tap dance all over it.
