It's quite different as this one is sherry matured on bourbon cask finished. Also, I haven't tried the Mortlach Flora & Fauna in ages!

Fantastic review Mark. I really do need to get some of the GoT whiskies and actually watch the series as most of it was filmed near where I live! What one would you recommend to start out with?

If you do not plan to try them all, I would stick to the 5 most interesting: Clynelish, Morthlach, Talisker, Lagavulin and Oban.

Far too expensive to my humble opinion. Better by a Glendronach 15 or even a Glenallachie 15 for € 60/70.

These marketing gimmicks don't interest me much... I'd prefer official distillery bottles or independent releases before plunking down my money on these releases based on a TV show...
