I spent 3 years briefing F-16 pilots at Hill AFB in the 34th Fighter Squadron. A lot of pilots are cocky, but we need these types of dudes flying (and women - we didn't have any in our squadron, but sister squadrons did). I deployed with the 34th to Kuwait in 98 (Operation Desert Fox). I have mad respect for these guys. My incentive flight was at Luke AFB and my pilot grabbed a cheeseburger and coke before flight. I tried doing the same and I threw it all up on the negative G dive. We flew around for an hour and I was exhausted. This was just the start of the day for these guys. I was spent and needed a nap. Fun times though. We pulled 7.5G's and did BFM over Arizona.

I was told about an "old war story" many times from a relative in the joint task force. They weren't around for the cold war (after) but I was told we were one keyturn (takes 2) away from ww3 because of bad intel. I never looked it up, but, I trust the person and the next day after they told me drunk, they said, "I probably shouldnt have told ya that." But once they told me I was their outlet, and heard it a few more times in that state. Apparently they were given the order, but 1 didnt turn the key. They said, "it didn't feel right." As they were getting their ass chewed, info came in it was actually a false alarm. I got into a discussion woth another recently...and I was like wait, is this guy right? You can look it up. We almost launched fighters with nukes and missiles (edit:with nukes) for a bear downing a fence. Ffs, America is scary.

Jaime pulled up that B-2 with escorts so quickly, let the picture sit for 30-40 seconds for them to talk about it, then pulled it down as their attention began moving away to allow the conversation to transition back and flow again smoothly. Young Jaime is truly the best in the game.

Agree in this case, but Jamie pulling up images is often destructive for the flow of the conversation, many times to the point of unbearable since it will totally shift the dialog from something interesting to something random, changing the topic completely when the guest was delivering some story/anecdote/information. Yes it can also keep the conversation more dynamic etcetera.

@@garrymiles607 i never set a specific date..if you understand eschatology we are in that time frame. Prophectic timeline revolves around nation of Israel. They are building the 3rd temple in Jerusalem for their "messiah" aka antichrist as we speak. Countdown for jesus return kicked off when israel became a nation in 1948 after the jews were scattered and exiled from their nation for thousands of years. Jesus spoke of the "figtree generation" which will be the generation to witness the coming of jesus christ the true messiah. When israel became a nation again 1948 it fulfilled the prophecy in old testament of jews returning home to the holy land of israel after exile. A generation in the bible is 70-80 yrs. We are in that timeframe. The antichrist(barack obama) will make a covenant with many nations/7 yr peace treaty..he will bring false peace, order, and "world solutions" from the aftermath of the chaos of the rapture. He will bring the mark of beast system to the forefront using rfid chip implants on hand or forehead. Without this no man can buy or sell. Revelations 13. God bless.

It’s actually not a fighting shirt, as an aggressor pilot his current job is to be an adversary against other pilots. When they’re setting up for a training dogfight one of the final things that said before it starts is 3, 2, 1, FIGHTS ON and then the dogfight begins. Look up C. W. Lemoine, He’s a former F 16 and F 18 fighter pilot who is also an aggressor pilot and the intro to his videos has that being said over the radio

@@dannyroberts8822 In my honest opinion, I'd bet on the F22. Simply because it has more stealth than the Typhoon. It also has greater weapons storage (internal bay plus optional hardpoints). In other areas such as ceiling, mach, range; both fighters more or less match up, Eurofighter's got superior combat radius. Though there's a reason why the Raptor isn't approved for export to foreign militaries, compared to Typhoon, cus it holds secrets the US DoD doesn't want other air forces around the world to know.. Raptor = king!

Saw a few fighters on the tarmac that were making their way to the runway. So, being a tourist (with an incredible beard that sang freedom like bald eagles screaming above Mount Rushmore) I parked and waved like a crazy fan and screamed out how much I love America. They took off down the runway and then shot straight up. Blew my mind and I was so thankful that I just let the road of liberty, guide my travels. "From sea to shining sea".

People often underestimate people in the military. They think of the typical knucklehead army guy but in reality a huge part of the military is unbelievably smart guys! Like figher pilots go through years of training and learning. idk just a thought

22 is substantially more fuel efficient when not in afterburner than other fighters. Bit of an oddball. Meant for high altitude super cruise to give missiles more range. Interestingly, the 23 that it was competing with for the contract was superior in every respect except maneuverability that it was roughly the same as (using a different technique than engine nozzle vectoring), but that one lost because that big B-2 ufo-looking thing's program had so many cost overruns that the Pentagon was sort of pissed and didn't want to reward Northrop with the contract.

OR it could be a number of other factors, like price & maintenance, or strategic priorities vs tactical priorities. I don't know details, just pointing out that such orders are much more complex than "me don't like you, me take the other plane"

Now Japan is building it for themselves! So we will get to see both of them in the air from our greatest Ally. Both planes were so damn good, but I know that the 23 was definitely an edge up. You know some big wig said to hell with them for the B2 debacle lol

I got all yaw beat. I did a double engine change on F-14 and went too high power too test the new engines. I went full afterburner while sitting still chained too the ground. It was the most violent thing I ever experienced. I couldn't talk for 6 months afterwards.

Back in early 2000 I live in Mojave, and one morning a heard a huge bang. I thought a car had crashed into the building, I went outside a bit later and asked my neighbour if he heard the noise a few minutes ago. It was just the space shuttle landing at Edwards AFB

My dad worked at the Nevada test site for 32 years as security for WSI (Wakenhut) with a Q clearance. There's a lot he can't talk about but he said he didn't see anything crazy except for a few different crafts that definitely weren't "of this world". But he has a lot of things he still hasn't told me from his days in Vietnam and a spook in the air force. He's a very interesting man. I told him to write a book before he leaves me on this earth but I dunno.
