My favourite title out right now! Aside from it as said in the intro, a comic that brought many of us back into our childhoods. It's also just well written and the art. My goodness. Dan Mora CRUSHING it as always. Mark Waid as always, CRUSHING it with the Justice League. Can't wait to see where this series goes. As I am LOVING it!

Carol acting like a rookie, despite having a ton of experience fighting intergalactic threats and cosmic forces as big as the physical manifestation of death itself, stems from the fact that she hasn't viewed herself as a hero until recently. She's always kind of been reluctant to use the Star Sapphire ring, since the origins of that power range from chaotic neutral at best to straight up evil at worst, depending on the era. Most major conflicts since the corps was established would see her put on the ring, help out with the threat in front of her, then return to her life on earth to rinse and repeat the "I love Hal, but he's never around" cycle. But in the recent Green Lantern run, she decided that she wants to make this power her own, and use it to redefine the violet light as a known force of good in the universe. So while she's an experienced lantern, she's just at the beginning of her career as a superhero, and still learning to work on a team that isn't half made up of murderous red, orange, and yellow lanterns.

A very good read. Star Sapphire showed out, so did everyone else it’s just we rarely get massive moments from lesser known characters. While I expected the Airwave twist, the lead up to that moment was well worth it.

This comic is really peak tbh I’m loving it (even if the flash outfit is ugly as all hell) 10:08 As a person who likes mark waid (despite his flaws) mainly due to his flash run I think he is a good pick for the justice league and what there trying to do here because as you said n the video he knows these characters not a single character (except carol) felt out of character and that’s what we need after the justice League being gone for while

Issue #1 hit so hard. As a lifelong DC fan who has the DCAU to thank for a childhood filled with great DC stories, I couldn't be more hyped when this was announced. And man I got to say, Mr. Waid and Mr. Mora have outdone themselves as always. You've got plenty of heroes and epic action, but even better, the heart's still there too. You've got Superman leading all the heroes of the world, Air Wave being the framing device of the nervous newbie who sees the new Watchtower and League like us and eagerly helps on his first mission, helping Star Sapphire and Black Lightning save someone's life through love? And his reaction after? Awesome. So great to see Batman and Blue Beetle teaming up as well, as a Brave and the Bold and YJ fan. And then there's SPOILER the big twist of Air Wave being a double agent! Excited to see what's next.

I love how Blue beetle is a big part of the comic as I've recently started reading his books (as he's one of my favourite DC characters and I got into comics a while ago but never found him in my comic shops so bought some online ) and the art is petty consistent in those books so I quite liked this art style on him Also I'm excited to see in this run how airwave ineracts power wise with the other characters especially blue beetle and red tornado

this and the absoulte universe is the only good dc comic we've had in a while. we are def not in a renaissance but its good to be hopeful that the movies can try to replicate the charm of the animated series.

Hey mate. DC is doing great, recently! 😂 Next one, probably you want to check Aquaman series. This book has great artwork from John Timms and even better stroryline from Jeremy Adams. If you like Dan Mora, then you will love John's art.

​@mnstash It's a new story my understanding is It's a 5 issue arc that's going to tell the story of Rogue and Magneto that we didn't see during the original Savage Land run. I'll be honest if my mate hadn't of got a copy I probably wouldn't have checked it out, but the artwork good and at least #01 the story isn't bad. Anyway loving the Superman content 👍
