Thats coz he is bold when he communicates his message. Most people don't look you in the eye because they're busy consciously looking composed/cool when they speak. Mark seems to not have that problem. Thumbs up.

Don't blame others for the lack of your own success. The only one to blame is you. Success comes when someone follows their dream and refuses to let it go. Will you fail, definitely. I'm sure Mark failed more times than he can count, yet each time pulled himself back up and tried another idea. That's how Microsoft and Apple were born and that's how the greatest companies in the world are created.

I think I would call him a genoius. Think about it, one of the reasons we call the people before him geniuses is because they revolutionized their time period. He did that with our time. There are very few people that do not have facebook now a days why? Because that is how times are now, he found a way to connect us all and revolutionized out time. Now colleges are using facebook, jobs, corporations ect. You cannot say he wasnt smart about. He changed this generation.

@MinsterRogersIf I would want to use your own words in defining genius then we can simply called him one. Don’t you think the entire world is rapped up in his idea. In less than 30 years of his life, he has help people communicate better. Don’t you think this is extra-ordinary. It doesn’t depends on sweat or age. Once the service is good they pay for it. The growth of your wealth really depends on the number of people you have touched..he has touch more than those in 90s

Why was it narrowed down to three by the interviewer? smells and sounds scripted. I'd say the keys are slightly different. 1) Having a competent, visionary entrepreneur who knew how to tap into growth. 2)Boldness, including the aspect that privacy was disregarded (from face mash to facebook's privacy stance, combined with Zuckerberg's public statement disdaining privacy). 3) Maintenance and big company phase: rather different points that require different skills, competencies that big leaders of big corporations know how to manage. But what do I know. I'm just a guy on the internet.

I love how everyone thinks that he stole it because they saw "Social Network", a hollywood adaptation of the story. If you do any actual research and watch other interviews, no main players in the creation of Facebook were involved in the making of the movie. So unless you witnessed him stealing the idea SHUT UP, because he may have stolen it he may not have but you cant know.

I don't know. I just feel like saying he is a genius for the sole reason of creating facebook is not warranted. Running a multibillion dollar company and being able to implement strong innovative approaches that warrant brand new ideas is. I mean the idea of facebook was not new. Myspace came way before it. He simply made it more simply and sleek.

@hm41969 1. I disagree with this statement. You might argue that he's not the smartest or most charismatic person in the world, and he doesn't claim to be anyway, but to say the cause of his/Facebooks success is solely due to luck and that he's not talented at all is ridiculous. It still takes a mind to create and maintain something that grows this large and appeals to so many.

@MrTpolich Even if he did "steal" the idea, it's important to realize that ideas are not that difficult to come up with, people have ideas all the time. Turning that idea into an actual product is the difficult part. Somebody may have had the idea of a Segway long before it was developed and manufactured, but the people actually developed the product are the ones who deserve the credit.

Just see youtube videos, he looks uncomfortable. And I am not from USA, I didnt voted for Obama, but yes i like him.I think USA is better with him. And, I have a twitter account thats revolutionary dear, real time news. Its amazing, is not like another social network. And most important, all leaders can do a perfomace, its obvious.

Revolutionary is more big, and really change lifes. I just dont understand why people spend 3 hours checking your facebook profile. And u know what, you probaly do that. Hi there everyone! Your page will be found by almost no one on FaceBook, as the FaceBook search facility has now been altered to produce hits for people who pay money, so your search requests do not any longer come up with your real requests, so the owner of FaceBook can make lots of yummy cash..... in other words the poor no longer get a say on FaceBook, it's for the middle class and rich only.

Like Google Me or a Apple social network, or Diaspora... I do have a fb account, but i just dont like do things in fb, i think the profile is simple and boring. Seriously, in this case i prefered Myspace visual u can change, like u dont need to use same clothes.
