I lived in China for a while, and I have the same feeling toward authentic Chinese food. I genuinely love Chinese food. It’s the best cuisine in the world. I saved a screenshot of this restaurant, 和和美食. I hope to visit Hungary someday. When I do, I’ll look for this restaurant. The dishes you ate look excellent, and I can see that you really appreciate Chinese food. Many Chinese cooks use a lot of salt, so I am used to that. The white rice and a beverage will balance the saltiness. I too really like wood ears and the flavor of Chinese vinegar. Also, Sichuan peppercorn and the dried red chilies are just amazing. When the chilies are chopped in half and stirred into the hot oil at the beginning of the stir fry, then they infuse the oil and make the dish taste spicy; otherwise, most of the spiciness remains inside of the chili, but that is OK too. The only thing about the dishes you ate that I feel I would want to change would be to use 大白菜 instead of 高麗菜 for the stir-fried cabbage dish. I now live in Taiwan, where they prefer to use 高麗菜, but I still strongly prefer the taste of 大白菜. Nevertheless, this particular cabbage dish you had does look very good anyway; I can see that they prepared it very, very well.

I traveled to Tokyo and Bangkok last summer with my daughter who was 1yr old at the time. I would say how easy/hard things are depends on where you are traveling. After traveling to Tokyo I would not really recommend traveling with a Toddler to there. Many of the places to eat are just not baby friendly due to how small/cramped everything is. Bangkok on the other hand was much more child friendly as there was more room in the places we went. I am welcoming another baby girl into the world this Friday and we plan on traveling back to Bangkok and most likely Seoul in a year. Since my wife is Thai we try to travel to Thailand once every 1-3 years. If you have any specific questions about traveling with a baby/toddler I would be more than happy to answer.

Hot & Sour soup is one of my favourite Chinese food. Just a little fun-fact, you were close to where I work. If you didn't know, the Chinese Market originally were on the opposite site of the road until about 2014, it was called Négy Tigris Piac (The Four Tigers Market) or simply Józsefvárosi Piac (Józsefváros Market, Józsefváros is Joseph City in literal translation, it's the name of the eighth district in Budapest from the 23 districts). If you are curious, you can find some info or pictures of it on the net. Now the Market is looking a bit better, though situated in an old and large warehouse/once a factory complex (that's why that part is called GANZ-quarter because it was named after the famous Hungarian company, also worth to look for some info on that). I'm glad I've found some of your videos which you took in Hungary, I like them a lot :)

apere003 I know we all need to be extra carefull while traveling, or maybe we should just stay in our own home just as Mark and his family does😉 Mark and family have been social distancing at thei home in Thailand for more than 3 month, they are just now started to get out in their home town a little, but with masks and without Micah. I love how they are such a good example👍🏻 Have an awesome day, take care and stay safe🤞😉

One piece of advice for people traveling in Budapest, use Bolt. Bolt is like the European version of Uber. It's cheaper than taking a taxi.
