This is amazing, I am showing this to my 64 year old father and so many times you passed by places and he says to me wow I remember sitting there or we would play ball there or I walked around there so much it’s amazing that you can vlog this and bring back memories to people who don’t have the money to go back. My father was born and raised in Brazil but after moving to the states he never got to go back because of financial struggle so thank you for being able to vlog this and show those who either can’t go back or have Never been

Hi there. I’m originally from Manaus, but currently living in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Your video made justice to what Manaus is. Tropical fruits, local cuisine and the opera house (everything was brought from Europe) and more much that couldn’t be seen in the video. I’m a little homesick now. Thank you for this video!

do you know that the rubber trees grown in tropics like Thailand and Malaysia are actually originated from Brazil? that is why it has a scientific name called Hevea Brasiliensis. as said by mark, Manaus was developed by the rubber industry and it was further exploited by a British botanist called Henry Ridley in the Industrial Revolution.
