I started a short film series highlighting the journey of my creative friends. It all started with a conversation with my brother when I realized it took him 15 years to reach his dream job then it kind of cascaded from there. Is there something to be said about not being able to objectively look at your own journey? I will say that as someone who deals in a lot of high stake situations I can be very guarded as to how much I open up about my story. I would assume that the better the story, the higher the stakes; and the more guarded people become. It’s like, now there’s another set of eyes that can see the mistakes I made. What is a good way to help people relax and let that guard down?
