This was a VERY interesting study! There are still certain cultures and people today, that have lived amongst one another for many, many generations and they have their own places. I could not claim that if a family has lived in the same township, land, etc. for many generations, it might be a form of control. It may just be a decision to stay there. I'm under the understanding that when one reaches the age of accountability or old enough to leave or gets married, they can leave and live where they please! They need their own space and place. Unfortunately, there are also married/not married couples and their kids, due to many reasons...that live with their parents, and that in and of itself can cause great difficulties and struggles. My husband Jerry and I see it as trying your best to be where God wants you to be and you GO! We've tried our best to instill in our own adult children, that after the Lord, your family always comes first, and you'll have to support, provide and defend for it, then help others if you can or want to. So this teaching is truly important, yet very diverse, due to there being so many different situations! None the less, it got me thinking about things, because I still have to sometimes remember these concepts, because I tend to still try and help others at risk of my own. So, thank you pastor Driscoll! May the Lord continue to bless and keep you, family and ministry!

@@moscowcowboy_13 what if Jesus decided that He'd "had enough" of you and me?

You never stop forgiving? Matthew 18:21-22 and God never stops loving us so we are to love all people and pray for them.

@moscowcowboy_13 You never stop forgiving (Matthew 18:21-22) God says to forgive and if we don't then he won't forgive us.
