If you're wondering why everything looks so crunchy, It's because I am using my custom resourcepack which makes all the textures match the style of the 1.2.5 release from 2012. I had only textured the Mace when I recorded this video, but my new texture for the Wind Charge is in the thumbnail :). I was just posting this for my friends, so it's rather funny that It's gotten so many views (Compared to the rest of my channel, of course) I hope you enjoyed!

@@necroseus I don't know, it was when I was little. I watched KZbin and don't really knew the context. I don't really remember what was there, but I know that maps did exist in th e game in some way.

@@CreeperokGames Hmmmm.... Try searching some of these up on google. These are the Minecraft themes TF2 maps I know from growing up: Neon Heights Trade Minecraft B38 Minecraftworld a7 4 Biomes Trade Minecraft Any of those ring a bell? Or, alternatively if you mean a map in Minecraft based on TF2. Some older ones I know of are SethBling and Hypixel's custom TF2 map in Minecraft. Hope this helps :)

I'm glad you're liking it! So far, it's been a really good, well designed update with a good focus and honed ambition. However, I don't actually like the way the Mace is designed - hence "Silly Business". Don't get me wrong, though, I *LOVE* the feel of it! The way it pairs with the wind charge is excellent and fresh. However, It's blatantly OP, and it doesn't need to be this monstrously strong. I have no earthly Idea who thought that this weapon shouldn't receive a damage cap of +25 bonus damage from falling.

@DoneThatSeenThat No, this is a custom pack made by myself. I've textured a vast majority of blocks and items added after 1.2 to keep the old style of Minecraft textures while also fixing the really bad inconsistencies in art that had started to form after that point. I don't actually like the Golden Days pack very much. The modern retextures don't actually fit the old art style very well. That's why I've made my own :) I also don't like playing with mods.

@@necroseusjust play with nostalgic tweaks then, no sprinting, old bugs, old lighting and world generation, old minecraft mechanics, ect. theres not really a point to playing with just the texturepack when even the creator recommends it with Nostalgic Tweaks, its the entire point of the modpack is to pair well with Nostalgic Tweaks. Nostalgic Tweaks also comes with hundreds of changes and client visuals, theres not really a point not to use it.

I don't know exactly what you mean, but if what you meant is that crits already existed as a consequence of falling; True, however they deal a flat 1.5x crit damage bonus while falling in any circumstance. Contrasted with TF2's 3x crit damage bonus and requirement to be airborne via rocket jumping, regular critical attacks in Minecraft aren't really comparable. The Mace and Wind Charge simulate Market Gardening much more closely, as you need to fall from a decent height to get the bonus from the Mace and the Wind charges give you a really easy way to do so. It's not exactly the same, of course, but it is an analogous system :)
