This is such a beautiful car in the F1 spec way cooler than the AMR or standard version. One of my all time favorites in the last gen V12 Vantage with the manual gearbox. One of my customers in Europe took delivery of his new V12 Vantage it looks incredible but its $400k plus.
@Driven-Productions2 жыл бұрын
The new V12 Vantage is absolutely 🔥 It is limited production though like you said, and all sold out. I’m surprised they didn’t make the F1 a limited run package as well which I mention could have helped the value proposition.

The problem with the vantage is the cost of maintenance. The lack of network support is limited. Because it’s a small niche, parts are expensive. Most parts of AM are one of a kind. They don’t share parts from across all other vantages throughout the year.
@Driven-Productions2 жыл бұрын
Are you speaking from experience? If so could you share an example of what you’re referring to parts or service wise?
@dwightmoore30602 жыл бұрын
@@Driven-Productions I can replay from experience. I have a 2020 Vantage, 20K miles, and I am considering an F1. My car needed rear brake pads. Pads only, cost was a little over $1800 for parts only. AND a 2 1/2 month wait for parts from England! A week ago it went in for 20K service. No issues - for the moment - BUT it will needs full pads and rotors soon. That's about $11K!!!! So yeah, a new Aston is a little like a used Ferrari. Even if you can afford the price of admission, the maintenance costs are horrific.

The infotainment system is that way because touch screens are dangerous. It's already a fast car. Having to fidget around with a touchscreen in a car like that is an accident waiting to happen. It doesn't take much effort and focus for knobs.

Hey Adam, nice review. I'm currently in a modded LC500, and considering the F1 and an AMG GT-R. As you mentioned, my prime concern is depreciation on both. I did go into an AM dealer and built my own spec for the F1 - came to $177k. Do you know if the F1 uses a similar wet clutch to the one in the DBX 707? Finally, what camera/phone do you use for your reviews? Great stuff man, keep it up!👍
@Driven-Productions Жыл бұрын
Hey Rich sorry for the late response here. I’m pretty sure its a ZF 8 speed wet clutch, probably similar but the 707 has to be a bit beefier. For this review I shot it with a GoPro9, but I’ve since switched to my iPhone 14 Pro Max and a Mavic 3 drone. Only use the GoPros for action shots.
@ClaytonLF Жыл бұрын
I feel the same about depreciation especially the Vantage F1 I don't want to buy a car that can lose about a 75k to 100k in 4 years even after I keep it low mileage and good condition

Not a bad dream car at all! Always been an Aston Martin fan. You can start like I did with a 2009 Vantage which will hold its value if you get a manual one in a nice spec. Also thinking prices may come back down to 2019 levels as well within figure two to ten months.

Love the new one, better looks and technology, but you risk the depreciation. Where as buying this gen Vantage used now for now under $100k seems smart to me. Although an F1 might still be over $100k for a good spec like this.
