Thanks Dale! This video is gold! I don't know how many times I must have traded against the gap on a Monday or a Tuesday, and suffered for my ignorance! From now on, I will use the gap to my advantage. Also, the tip on setting TP on the opposite side of the gap is a big help, and a balance booster!

Or yeah ? So where are you planing to get out when that trade goes against you ? He never talks about STOPs … Any place can be an entry place if you do not take a stop loss in to consideration… and he never does in his videos … So it is not grate , just mediocre…

better to use it on RTH only or does not matter?
@TraderDale12 ай бұрын
Great question! While using it during RTH (Regular Trading Hours) can provide cleaner and more reliable data due to higher participation and volume, it’s not strictly necessary. If you're trading outside RTH, keep in mind that the market might behave differently, with lower liquidity and potentially more erratic price movements. The key is to adjust your strategy to the session you're trading. For RTH, you’ll often see clearer Volume Profile levels and order flow patterns, but during ETH (Extended Trading Hours), you might need to be more cautious and account for thinner markets. It ultimately depends on your trading style and goals!

I wish I saw this video about 4 years ago before. I tried to start trading options on SPX at the beginning of gaps like a mentor instructed me to.😢

@TraderDale1 Interesting but I'm curious though. Once someone like yourself has reached a mountain top of consistent trading, do new Discovered concepts feel like life.Altering changes such as volume profile to a Struggling trader like myself?
