Thank you! You should definitely try out markets it’s the best thing I’ve done for my small business ☺️ I was so nervous before my first but seeing the joy on customers faces is just so amazing 🙌🏼 The cat is by bigbebez on Etsy (it’s a great seller at my markets 😅)

The canopy question is tricky. Personally I'd just buy one but take that with a grain of salt because I'm not great with money lol The way I see it, if you use it 5 times, it will cost the same as renting it, but you'll still have the tent. If you do end up buying one, every time you rent, it technically adds to the overall cost. Say, if you rent twice then buy, it becomes 100+250 for the tent instead of 250. Renting can come with hidden costs and worries too. You have already had success at market, so I think it's safe to buy. But it depends on your finances and storage, and how many outdoor markets there are in your area. If, say, you only have one or 2 outdoor markets in a year, and money is especially tight, it might be better to rent for 1 or 2 events so you can save up and push that expense down the road where it might be less painful. But if there are more markets that you'd like to try, then it might be better to just get one now. Then you only have to learn how to use 1 tent, and you aren't spending extra money unnecessarily on renting. Buy once, cry once. But there's also the possibility that you can find a used tent for cheaper, so renting for one market might also buy you a little time to find one used for a great price. Definitely tricky, and a lot of variables. But if it were me, I'd buy. But I have several outdoor markets in mind!

Wow! 👀 thank you so much for taking time out of your day to give me this detailed advice 🥰 your arguments do make a lot of sense to me and I actually did end up buying a tent since I do have 2 more outdoor markets I’m eyeing for this summer season alone 😅 I did look on eBay for a used tent but I couldn’t find any that fit what I was looking for so ended up getting a new one. I got lucky since they were having a spring sale so they did have like a 10% discount 🙌🏼

The original has a frog hat but I just leave out the bobble stitches so it makes a regular hat ☺️
