You are exactly right about resale on pontoons Matt that is a huge thing to consider that many never think about. A boat is going to depreciate in those first five years no matter the make, some much more than others. Then comes year six and that is where the beauty of owning a Bennington truly shines. It is the only brand of pontoon that has a true 10 year warranty and a 10 year transfer so your resale doesn't tank on year 6. They stand behind their boats for the full length of their warranty where others cut the transfer at year 5 because they know most people sell their boat before then and it is the easy way out. That is just one of the reasons why I am on my second Bennington. Really enjoyed your video and all of your hard work that goes into this channel. Hope you are having a great summer on the water!

One of the best boats I have owned was a Kenner center console. That boat was not on any of the lists. The boat didn't have a lot of storage space or bells or whistles. But I fished the Texas bays with it. I.never had any issues with it, it ran dry in rough seas, and was easy to.maintain. It had a self bailing deck. I.owned it 5 years and it had a very good resale value .

I don’t think “Nautic Skiff” is a brand, at least not one I’ve heard of. I assume that was supposed to be “Nautic Star” in the 2021 fiberglass outboards 21’-24’

The problem with this is, you need to seperate into different categories. Putting bass boats, salt water center consoles and pontoon boats together tells people nothing

I agree, but that's the best we can get because of the way boat's are registered. Many states don't ask why type of boat, just what its made of (fiberglass/alum), engine type (i/o, outboard/inboard, jet) and length.

Intrepid is the best boat brand around. They are 100% fiberglassed together and can withstand hurricanes. They use the best hardware and have the most meticulous, anal retentive quality control you can imagine. f you disagree it's because you can't afford them.

@@BoatBuyersSecretWeapon I have been a marine tech for 50 years and have owned a Monterey for 10 years and live and work in Illinois where crownline is made and there quality is bad. Have replaced rooten stringers all the time. Monterey is just as good as colbalt.
