But the show responded that while the show is filmed in advanced, they film multiple endings with the winner only announced on the actual air date. The difference was crazy though - 1.25:1 vs 7:1 odds. With the finale on Sunday, it turns out sportsbet were right.

I listened to a Planet Money episode about sonic branding which might be the modern equivalent to jingles. Think the Netflix "dun dun", the HBO static intro or the Mac startup sound. The idea being it has a Pavlov's dog effect on you. If you encounter a similar tone or note arrangement elsewhere you instantly think of that brand. Plus it's less cheesy than a jingle.
