The first car I bought for myself was a beat 1968 Fleetwood limo like this, but mine had the power glass partition behind the driver, and a phone which connected to the rear. It also had a mini bar and B&W TV. Loved that car so much that 25 years later I bought another '68 Caddy, but this time a Deville convertible...which is now fully bagged and very nice. Have fun. Best road trip car there is.

The OBS would have be great! That's my favorite body style truck I had a 96 Shortbed 4 years ago very clean but I sold it had some hard times. I've been looking for another one. Thats a cool Cadillac 😎 for sure

It's not a bad trade and worth making it all black out, especially the interior. I would do two significant things to modify it, the first being a 6.0 or 6.2 LS swap, keeping it super easy. Second, bagged suspension, but how big and heavy you most likely need to upgrade the airbags. Keep the good content coming!

Now that is a prime example of a old canoe! I say bowling ball paint job, 18" lift, and 32" wheels. 😆 That's a giant car to paint. Would look sick with interior refresh, and bags though.

I love those Fleetwood Cadillac limos, my favorite year is the 67 to 68 models. Good choice of car, looking forward to seeing what you do with it. 🎉 That's when quality cars were made. I would go all black, inside and out.

As someone who has owned 2 different 1970 Cadillac Sedan de Villes (the 75 Fleetwood's smaller sister) I can tell you that you are in for a lot of fun. They're a smooth ride, and you won't even notice that you're doing 120 until the engine starts to sputter from fuel starvation... which will happen pretty fast at that speed, 'cause she'll pass everything but a gas station. I'm saying she's thirsty. And if you haven't already got one, find yourself a Motors manual from the early 1970s which will be an invaluable resource for everything you need to know about that Caddy.

I drive a 1969 Cadillac Calais 4 door. Had it for 15 years. When I got it it had 72,000 mi and it now has 108,000. By far the biggest comment is how Big it is.

Sweet! My first car was a 69 coup de ville with a 472. The bench seat would adjust to almost lay you out flat. It was an amazing car. Cant wait to see the 70 transform!!

Black out everything on the caddy, do it right, full interior, same headlights and taillights but upgrade the actual lights.. at minimum 20” wheels, low low, and put a cam and some other engine power mods, and exhaust, a couple subwoofers, tv in the rear, starlink, starlight headliner, interior ambiance lighting… FULL BUILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
