First thing I saw was "Does Gibraltor count as a sound?" and my 11pm brain said "What kind of noise does that make?"

tbf the straight of Gibraltar is huge compared to the other sounds he mentioned the bosphorus is less than a mile across the majority of its length i think the oresund was about the same as gibraltar at 9 miles but there are sections of it that are much narrower
@cadian101st6 ай бұрын
The Øresund gets down to 2.5 miles, and it is a very long strait. The strait of Gibraltar is both wide and short

"port related buildings" are clearly things like drydock, fishing dock, deepwater dock, jetty, admiralty, warehouse wharf, ship outfitters, etc etc. No buildings in eu5 are going to be as simple as "port" or "marketplace" etc, they'll mostly have inputs and outputs etc.
@Malforian6 ай бұрын
For sure it means that, just but ambiguous as to where you could build them I'm guessing just in locations that start with port available
@derbonuspool12746 ай бұрын
I mean marketplace building exists actually but yeah ports are prolly just natural ones

Think about it like this. If a product revenue falls below the fixed costs of production for some producers due to the price falling, then they will be forced out, lowering the supply, and stabilizing the price. Idk for sure though. My Macro Econ knowledge is better than my Micro Econ.

@@zacharysilver911 brother in crist 90% of marco economics is complete bullshit and only works if you ignore every real-life scenario and variable. If you cap the price you break the supply incentive the lower the cap the less sense it makes. Its basically a soft form of price control This would make no sense in the real world (despite being tried all the time, even the romans tried to implement price controls 😂) Trying to simulate subjective value in a game must be almost impossible i imagine Simulators need to simplify stuff to function at a good speed
