This gentleman made $200M/year at Expedia, you can guess that when he came to Uber in 2017 he didn't take a pay cut. Just another company that rewards themselves at the expense of the poor drivers who really need to pay their bills.

The rideshare companies' profits are at the expense of drivers' safety and lives. The profits are based on algorithm 60/40 split in favor of the rideshare companies with the drivers responsible for all of the expenses, for example, gasoline, insurance, fees, maintenance, wear tear on vehicle, car payments, washes, cellular phone, etc.

I refuse to drive for less than $1.50 per mile. If i haven't eaten for 3 days, I may be tempted to take $1 per 1 mile. And that's only deliverying food. Gotta be nuts to deliver live people these days.

I've asked customer service about the algorithm they said rides are automatically generated not matched, I've sat right next to other drivers they get order after order while my phone says finding trips... They get nice paying orders while they send me 10 mile $6 orders 20 mile $8 orders, seems like the algorithm discriminates... And if your company gets 165 million customers per month why can't you pay your drivers properly... Customer service is ok as far as responding only issues that get resolved are closed restaurants... Not to mention he says shortage of drivers but customer service says too many drivers demand is low
