I was working for Kmart as an overnight replenishment manager (okay, stock person) when the company went all in on Martha Stewart. I have to say her products elevated the store. All these years later, I still have some of the items purchased - we just used a MSE compote dish for Thanksgiving dinner that I purchased during my last days at Kmart in 2004.

I love that she’s down for anything, and is so dynamic and versatile. My mom and aunt, who are 50 and 62, love Martha and know her from her show and cookbook days in the 80’s and 90’s, I just turned 27 and my brother is about to be 25 and we love Martha and know her from her collabs with Snoop, her CBD products and her Insta. She really does cross generational boundaries, she’s a fucking boss.

Martha Stewart is one of my idols. She is an icon! This is what True, honest and real entrepreneurship is really all about! She is a gem! I love the way her mind began working as a young child. There is a wonderful documentary about her that speaks to her childhood, and shows how she was already business oriented as a teenager. I was the same way, she was the one person that made sense to me at a young age. As for this interviewer however, Omg. The reality of today right there. She has No idea what Martha Stewart, the name, the brand, the woman Really represents.

I've always loved Martha. Often misunderstood and parodied but she is brilliant. and a true visionary.
@JaesadaSrisuk3 жыл бұрын
She never rested on her laurels and is a really brilliant businessperson. There’s a reason why she’s so close with the Bull Gates and Jeff Bezos types. I think she was so often misunderstood and parodied is because it was so unusual for a woman to be a tycoon during the ‘90s - and she did it using stereotypically “feminine” lifestyle products and brands.

She never made money with her pub co, nor she was trusted by the financial industry. She lost her stockbroker license.

OMGaaaaawd, I got chills!!! Martha is beautiful inside and out! She's a breath of fresh air and chock full of sage advice that's never outdated. Her wisdom has an air of humility and you could hear she's just as grateful for her failures as she is for her successes because all have made her the phenomenal woman she is. There's a nugget of gold even in her briefest comments because what she doesn't say, the unspoken, is just as powerful as what she does say. If you appreciate her, you'll learn from her pauses, silence, and her verbal cues. I adore this woman for being a colossal model of success for women and men all around the world. She's a joy and a treat of a human being. I simply love and admire this lady so much!!!
