Martha is such a brilliant, curious, engaged person

While watching this, all I could think of was how genuine and clever she is, and how fake and shallow every single influencer today. No attempt of politically correctness, no fake sentiments, no identity crisis... She did her thing without hiding behind womanhood, never played the victim-she just lived and demonstrated the best life.

It’s sad we don’t have stuff like this again. She didn’t advocate domestic but enjoying your home. Magnolia just isn’t the same.

I never learned about her until I was in my mid twenties. My mother is who taught me about creating a special home and making beautiful things came from my father. My parents always loved beautiful things. We were army. We learned to make a home in some awful places!
