Does it ever cross these Semis CEO's minds that they may well be the architects of the end of humankind?

Without making their own chip, i don't see the future of arm.. making an energy efficient architecture is not that difficult.

If it wasnt so hard then nvidia wouldnt of been so hungry to buy arm

Come on ARM is not there already... I mean in AI computing. No system as of now can utilize and serve a service on GPU only processing since they are not general purpose. "NVIDIA paired CPU's build on AMD architecture" or "AMD paired with ATI GPUs" or even "NVIDIA GPUs paired with AMD CPUs" whatever... it does not matter. A.I. will run on GPU because of their high parallel processing capabilities and CPUs will be there to run on the top of GPU, providing running code for managing, interacting over GPUs. Basically, what he tells about AMD's role in A.I. is a lie. And, yes there are a lot of hype going about A.I. and there are also many well earned achievements done by the state of A.I., so his claim of no hype in A.I. business a lie as well. Because a half truth is still basically a lie.

Didn't get any vision he has for the company. Zero. Talks like a monopoly. If NVDA did that, they wouldn't have been been here. Please put a visionary as CEO, else after the first wave, the moat will erode.
