🇫🇷: We cannot survive if other countries act as if they were independent countries and sovereign, I mean, who the F they think they are ? China is creating its own laws to subsidies its own industries ( Unbelievable ! ), and America is also passing its own bipartisan laws in order to shield its relevant industries. WE CANNOT play/ trade this way. Until everyone accepts the European Union as a whole, we will never have fair trade and fair practices. Ita not about what you can do for your country, go deeper, instead it is what you can do for France 🇫🇷

Are you meaning the captions auto-generated by machine? Nah. The machine doesn't comprehend too well English with French accent. But as someone (Stoneface_) else said, Macron's English is 100% intelligible. One can do without the captions, if proficient in the English language. I reside somewhere more than 7000 miles away from both Paris and New York, still I understand Macron perfectly.

In human history, there's never a rule/value/system/regime that can work forever, because the world is changing all the time. Five decades ago, nobody would have believed that China could achieve such accomplishments. And this will happen again and again to South America, India, South Asia, Africa. The rise of China and other developing countries is so fast and unstoppable and the concern of Western countries is reasonable based what they have done to this world in last 200 years. The key is to find a new "fair" game rule. The fairness should be apllied to both developed and developing countries. Rule makers should put the future growth of developing countries into consideration. Otherwise, it will not be a surprise that WW3 will finally happen.

embrace industrial policies (fancy name for sponsoring , subsidizing, coordinating, developing industries by state itself) like china has done decades ago. Hard to catch up. companies cannot compete against Whole China state apparatus so it is necessary to do it to survive.... But overall, leave everything to private capitalists has showed like a bad policy for the world anyway so this will bring better living standard....

Macron should lead the EU. One of the most sensible EU leaders lately. Fully accepting and speeaking out that world is not the same as it was before. Macron is bringing the change that is needed for Fr (and most EU) economies, which is ageing fast and losing competitivenes fast (i.e. gatting poorer). If not for reforms, EU will fall behind the rest of the world economically. Hopefully, the wider communities will accept and understand that everyone will have to work more and harder to keep competitive

When you hear " I'm support green energy" the meaning is that "I don't want to relay on USA or OPEC in my energy sector" and I always support this. Stop taking "green" energy as proclimate issue, it's always more about energy independence. The great example is Germany with their play of cheap energy and now falling into deep recession due to energy dependence on cheap gas from russia. You can see the China where government effectively balance between "green energy" and make all steps to reduce their dependence on foreign resources. The same for electric cars. Electric car it's not about green energy its about independent source of fuel (electric) which can be generated inside the country without any dependence from abroad. And that's why Europe move full electric and USA and GB screaming STOP electric and go oil car and other narrative.

I appreciate Macron's the short and clear discussion he try to avoid all the confuions and target right to the point.. lot of balancing act need to be done globally to avoid conflict (like war especially) which is hurting growth. More innovation and investment in space sector need to be promote. There is a huge potential but also high risk.

What do you mean? US has the largest growth of all industrialised nations. The US is building insane amounts of renewable and atomic energy to become more indepedent and at the same time has a huge oil industry which now exports a lot more thanks to US foreign poliy. The US has the best labour-market if looked at through the eyes of a worker because of the lowest unemployment rates since decades. What Macron wants is to catch up to China and the US because he knows that Europe plays a junior role in the conflict between the US and China. That is why he wants a more connected european union.

To bad Western leaders are not voted in by Ukraine... because they act like it's Ukrainians who's opinion is more important than the citizens of their own Nations...they shit on US and keep sending our tax money to Zelinsky the Cokehead Clown of Kiev..And he keeps sending cannon fodder to the front to die. Meanwhile the Cites here in the US are full of homeless and criminals stealing everything that's not nailed down...Like Zelinsky said don't worry about our roads...don't worry Biden hasn't been.our infrastructure is falling apart nationwide... America is shell of its former self...been a downward spiral since the 1970s....I was born into dieing empire who was selling its industrial base to Asia....you drive around western Pennsylvania east ohio west Virginia, once steel mills coke plants coal mines are all gone hundreds of towns and small cities are scattered around...broken rusted little shitholes. The great past is gone, out sourced by greedy traitors....it's like this up and down the east coast.yes there are many wealthy people still here. But the gap between the wealthy and poor grows and the middle class is srinking. Our idiot government keeps printing dollars....our debt is massive...and the bubble will pop. And when it does nobody will rescue the US. So hey Ukrainians, get up and get rid of that idiot in Kiev. We're on the other side of the earth. Russia is literally nextdoor to you. It's not going anywhere, you have so much more in common with them than us. Stop the mindless suicide, you need a leader who cares about the people of Ukraines future.. weapons are not going to bring a great future, it's what is keeping the literal destruction of the seeds of your future.A path of self destruction was chosen in 2014...Scum like Victoria Nunland pointed the way, lies a better future or just that lies. We here in the US are greedy and self centered and our government uses nations like condoms. Soon you will be put in the trash and forgotten.Wake Up

In fact, from the perspective of national independence, political influence, industrial base, consumption capacity, geographical location, etc., Franco-Chinese cooperation on new energy vehicles is the best choice, and I believe that China is also willing to do so if Mr. Macron does not only listen to the teachings of the Americans. It is also the only chance for France to replace Japanese, South Korean and German cars in the automotive sector French design + Chinese mechanical and electrical technology + Chinese cost-effective accessories + French assembly + EU, Africa, Middle East market, is a perfect cooperation. However, beware of attacks by the Americans on China and France from behind

First of all i saw the catastrophy and nightmare in our automotive industry where national producers thought it would be moreeeee way more profitable to delocalize the production centers and RandD centers to eastern Europe Romania not to mention it. 10-15 years later these companies are now de ad akd that's exactly what i understood. Furthermore, imagine that our National Debt increased of nearly 800 billion $ in only 7 years. Our Pension System has been reformed 3 ou 4 times in 10 years. French have to work 43 years to get a COMPLETE pension...That was only 37 years 20 years ago. World is not the same as it was before. Macron is bringing the change that is needed for Fr/Eu economy, which is ageing fast and losing competitivenes fast (i.e. gatting poorer). If not for reforms, we will fall behind the rest of the world economically. Hopefully, the wider communities will accept and understand that everyone will have to work more and harder to keep competitive.

Macron is extremely selective in his description of his work and achievements. There is a key figure that tells everything. It is public debt in relation to GDP. What this key figure says with all clarity is that capital allocation in France is horribly lousy and harmful.

Yes, Maron is right. France is the most predatory country in terms of taxation in the world. It is the state with the most public administration employees per capita. It is the country that rewards those who do not work the most. etc. etc. He is right, investors are rushing to invest there!! 😂😃😂💪

I agree on your point, 'rewards those who do not work'. Because there are people misusing this system very badly.. My opinion is that there should be a mesure and reward points. People should be recognised by there contribution and give them the reward (not award please in terms of %value) so it motivates others to do the same.

Macron dreams and tries to change that, but in France it's almost mission impossible. As soon as a French president announces that there will be cuts in the public administration, millions of people are on the streets the next day and they continue until they get their way. French society is stagnant and closed.
