A few years ago, my wife had a wrinkled retina, requiring surgery much the same as yours. The doctor told her to expect cataract surgery the following year, she was right on the money! All the procedures went great and she still has near perfect eye sight at 75 yrs.

You won't believe the difference when you have the cataract surgery, if you can call it surgery, takes about 2 minutes per eye, 2 weeks apart. Had mine done in April and May, what a difference. You will see brighter clearer colors.

There is something to be said for a debarker in my opinion. But you have your opinion on that subject but time spent coming outside to get bark from under and other places is a painful to watch. Just remove loose bark by hand before you put it on the rack. It’s not my sawmill do whatever you want.
@robertgreen869511 ай бұрын
I would think that the cost of purchase, time of installation and then learning to use it would be the bigger issues concerning a debarker

As you have described your eye troubles,, I am not sure this will help. But ya never know,, so.. What I use for visual acuity, it makes a very noticeable difference, is Tart Cherry Juice. Not cherry or black cherry,, find tart cherry juice. I make a morning coffee in a large mug (16 to 20 oz?) about 3/4 black coffee,, and 1/4 tart cherry juice with about 2 teaspoons of sugar. In the evening it is normal at bed time to fill the mug with 3/4 water,, heat to boiling in the microwave, a couple of teaspoons sugar, and about 1/4 tart cherry juice. In 10 days to 2 weeks you will notice added acuity,, sharper focus,, more vibrant colours,, and the effect lasts for a week or 2 weeks if you stop taking the tart cherry juice. In general,, there is something in the juice that likes nerve endings. All the effects range to noticeable level. Nothing profound,, likely won't cure cancer or restore your receding hair line. But,,, dang, does it taste good !! I am 71 now,, and where all of my Boy Scout Leader friends have gone to bifocals, hearing aids, etc. I seem to have skipped that. I am slightly near sighted, I can drive safely on a bright day, have often forgotten my glasses when leaving the restaurant,, been wearing glasses all my life. But, I have skipped the bifocals and hearing aids stuff,,, Blueberries and tart Cherry juice. And aspirin and lucky genetics,, I assume. Try the tart cherry juice. If it does nothing,, it still tastes really good.

Cataract surgery is nothing to worry about. It takes longer for your eye to dilate, than the surgery itself. I had 18 shots directly into my right eyeball, then cataract surgery in both eyes, then posterior capsulotomies in both eyes, then had a build-up scraped off of the right retina, easy peasy! So don't worry about the cataract surgeries. You'll be fine. Thanks for the videos. Jon
