Mark, i like the way you make these vids interesting as well as informative. I had to discontinue operating my mill a few yrs ago for safety reasons, so these are a fine way to pass part of my time now as an 81 yr old. Keep up the good work.❤

Thanks for your videos. I like to hear how you think your way through a log. And that you make nice neat lumber out of some pretty sketchy logs. :-) And I respect your patience with some of the comments. Some of them just make me frown and shake my head. Hey to Eddie and ZZ.

t not the seasson for log deliveries? You could do a bit of a video on the background of where your logs come from. Do people come to you or do you have to bid for them? All interseting stuff when running a mill. All the best guy's ✌

Good job as always. I wish some day I could see this operation in person. There are no saw mills in San Diego, CA because there are no trees other than those that people plant. I actuall saw Mr. Laser today. He looked a ltiile green, is he ok? 🤣

I looked at sawmillpimp's setup and I can see what you say about the log deck being too high on your setup. His, it seems, is 2 to 3 inches lower than the end of the head blocks. No cabin? Sawdust down your back? I would put up at least a sheet or plexiglass to keep the man glitter out of my eyes. But he does a very fast job of sawing. Good operation. He says he has a panagraph. I have to look up what that is.

Mark, when you're milling that reactive wood and have to slowly feed it multiple times before reaching the splitter, does that process affect the dimensions?

How dare you call your logs victims! You keep doing you Mark. The way people get so butt-hurt over the niggliest little things makes me laugh. Another good day I can see the laser, and I did find the video when you first installed the laser so now I can envision where it is. I love the stop sign videos. The way you make a stop sign isn't the way _I_ would do it, but I'm not a sawyer. My approach may net 1, maybe 2 more boards, but it would also add an hour onto the sawing. That crotch log looks like a good challenge. Another excellent Friday-eve video.

I've never put a "crotch" log on my sawmill before and I don't think I will either. It's mostly a manual mill and I don't have any help. 😅

I like watching crotch logs being cut on a circular saw mill better than on a band mill. The gnarlier, ... the better. Stop signs, too! 🛑

Nice Snidely Whiplash buzzsaw victims, what do you do in your spare time, tie damsels to train tracks? I saw Mr. Lazer today, he's looking thin, and a little green in the gills.
