My Koi Breeding Project - Part 35 - Goshiki spawning first night success

Following on from yesterday's video which saw the Goshiki parent sent placed together in the spawning tank at 6am - • My Koi Breeding Projec... - this video charts the spawning from 6pm the same day through the night to its conclusion in the early hours of the morning.

Excellent 👏👏👏 Funny, I was thinking ‘that’s odd the Gin rin Male was more active to begin with but now seems barely involved’ then you said it yourself, it’s a shame as his scaleation is amazing but the other has a lot going for him too, I actually prefer his body shape. As you say tie will tell but I’m really hoping you get some great numbers from these and hardly any culls 🙂

Mark, I am going to build a Koi pond this year and Goshiki are definitely my favourite. I like the darker grey ones that look like they have lost in a paint ball fight. Do they get darker grey as they get older / bigger ?
