You have done a great job Mark. And I think this is your best video yet. I definitely look forward to watching these two spawnings develop. Two of my favorite varietys.

If you don’t end up with at least 100 absolutely stunning fish from that lot there’s something wrong with the universe! Absolutely made up for you but wow that’s a lot of fry.. time to start digging a mud pond in the neighbourhood 😆

Love these vids, keep it up. What do you do with the extra fish? Could you run us through the process of selling (on what medium) / getting rid of them? Thanks

You’re breeding skills are amazing!!! Where do I buy those large nets you using to spawn and hold the fry in? I’m in the 🇺🇸! Thanks!

Hi, the one with the Goshiki fry and the one used for spawning were bought in Japan. The one outside with the Kujaku in are made by Norfine Nets in the UK.

Thanks for more great content. I was wondering about your covers. i would like to do something similar for my round tanks ready for Autumn. Does rain water fill them up?
@MarkGardnerNTVfree4 жыл бұрын
They certainly do, I realised the design flaw after making them. The first time it rained it was confirmed. Need to be adjusted to be tilted slightly and the have a small piece of top baton to enable drainage.

@@MarkGardnerNTVfree Thanks Mark. Not what I wanted to hear though! Maybe I'll catch a glimpse of the modification in a future video. Good luck with everything.

Hi mark I was wondering do you sell any of your fry I love goshiki and karakuls and I would love to grow on some of yours you do an amazing job.
@MikeZak1014 жыл бұрын
I thought you were exaggerating about moving 5000 to another tank, i don't think i have ever seen anything like that, well done mate
@MarkGardnerNTVfree4 жыл бұрын
Plan to remove 10000, 5000 to each outside tank. I don’t think it will make much impression on the total number inside.

Wow! sick many Goshiki Mark! ( can i have some :D ) really amazing! what you gone do with them all! ? selecting them on Yellow once 1 tank and 1 tank with white once ?

man I'd love to buy your rejects... but I live all the way here in the US. Even your rejects are worlds better than what's available here.

Culling is a task with mixed emotion; I always think of trying to grow out the whole spawn :)
@MarkGardnerNTVfree4 жыл бұрын
Realistically impossible/impractical, unless you have endless space you risk compromising everything and end up with nothing. In the wild there would be a natural selection, that’s why there are so many to start.
